Need help in deciding on Camera?

Hi to all who might be so kind as to helping me decide on what camera to buy.

I am filming short teasers for companies that will be put onto DVD and online for their marketing purposes.

My first choice is DVX 100b or a Canon A1? Second is a GL2 as I am not sure that they want HD or it is needed for my purposes.

It will mostly be action sports based so bearing the elements is key in whatever camera I buy.

Do I need HD or just SD?

I understand that the A1 does not do 720p, is this going to be a problem for web?

I considered the GL2 long ago and wound up buying a DVX100A. In retrospect I'm glad I chose it over the GL2 -- not that the GL2 is not good, but I just like the DVX so much. It's a great Cam.
 
The DVX is a great camera and if most of what you do is internet based then by all means, find a great deal on a used one, If you plan to make short or even full length features, and you want a "closer to film" look for DVD then the A1 would be the better choice
