Need help deciding on monitor to edit.

Hi, I'm planning on purchasing the 21.5 iMac and thinking of hooking up a large monitor for edit and viewing. Any recommendations? Or should I purchase a 40" tv?

I really want to see if I had done pulldown correctly and such and can't really tell on a small monitor. Help guys?

So far I am thinking a 30" Dell.

I think any display with a S-IPS or S-PVA panel would be fine, to check your panels display, go to http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/

and don't forget to calibrate it
