Need advice on new cameras

I have been researching for weeks, looking through tons of internet sites, trying to compare and contrast footage, reliability, user comments, and price, but I still can't decide which camera to get.

Of course there's always the XH-A1, HVX200, XL2, or JVC's GY series of cameras. It seems like there's pros and cons of each. My price range is $6,000 or less if that helps at all. To be honest I'm sort of leaning toward the JVC GY-HD200UB. The footage I've seen from it is very nice and it has a few more features that I would like to have that some of the other cameras don't offer.

What camera would you guys suggest getting?
 
Wait for the Red Scarlet. Going to change the world for low cost cameras. Best thing is you can update individual modules so as your film making improves you don't have to buy a new camera each time.
 
Here's a website I have where I made a chart that compares over 30 tapeless pro video camcorders. It compares their prices, formats, resolution, and more. It doesn't contain any user comments, and it doesn't have any cameras that only record on tape, but I think it's a good place to start, to see what's available at what price. Nice chart, keep up the good work.

Where is the Sony Z7U & S270? They both shoot on card & tape, similar to the HVX200.

Thanks, I appreciate that, and thanks for pointing out the Sony cameras. My chart is still a work in progress, and just last night I added 5 more Sony XDCAM cameras, 4 of which have been out for a quite a while. But I hope to catch up soon, and keep caught up.
