As someone who is not shooting professionally, how can I get to your level of zen regarding gear-lust... It would make my bank account much happier lol

Change your mindset!

You don't need to own a Learjet in order to fly from one location to the next.

You don't need to own a Ferrari in order to do the maximum safe speed limit on a street.

And you don't need to own the next great camera about to be released with oomph-million stops of latitude in order to take pretty pictures.
