Need advice about an audio dilemma!

Thought I'd let everyone know that I received the 60DmkII and it works! I get a fairly clean signal from the NTG-2 without needing to go past medium gain, which is excellent. As a side note, when I mentioned on twitter that the H4N doesn't work with the zoom, Rode replied, saying to make sure +48v is on, and mono mix and 1/2 link are off. But I can't confirm this because obviously I don't have an H4N.
 
Nice. For safety, it's a good idea to put batteries in as well, that way in case something crazy happens, or you run out of juice from the Anker, the batteries can kick in. Of course, that makes it heavier, so that's something to consider.
