Need a good compact handheld cage/rig to help stabilize my GH4 handheld

Getting too many micro-jitters without some sort of rig. Just too light weight. I can manage full frame cameras/lenses fine handheld due to their size and weight. . . so a cage or something that has a good handheld grip that takes me up to that sort of weight.

Any recommendations? Just started searching.

Thanks.

This is what I use for several cameras.

I put a Manfrotto 577 quick release on the top of the bottom plate, anything with a 501PL "plate" slides right into place. Grips are spaced just far enough apart to be useful for stabilizing handheld. And it's very sturdy!

Price of $95 is unbelievable. Check out the GB-2 and GB-3 variations and be sure to watch the videos on that page.

Very interesting. Do you have any idea how much weight is added with the unit? They dont seem to say on the page.

Thanks.

That site also sells the Fhugen Honu which several GH owners on this site seem to like. The Honu was designed especially for the GH3 and GH4 cameras and can be purchased in a kit with both rod holder and top handle options. Wooden Duck sells a rig that fits the GH4 that is height adjustable and still allows you to use the camera's grip which many cages don't allow. However Wooden Duck 's rig starts around $400 and works up from there. There's a thread here started by Tacotim who modified a Honu with a saw and drill so that he could also use the camera's grip. Do some more research as there about three or four rigs made especially for the GH.
