ND filters for 52mm Nikons

I'm doing my research here trying to figure out the "best bang for the buck"
screw on (52mm) ND filters are out there available.

I currently have Nikon 35mm F1.4, 50mm F1.4, 85mm, F1.8
and will be used with the GH2 (novoflex adaptor)

Seems like the most common answer is the Tiffen Water White kit coming in at a whopping $250-300

I'd love to hear your guys opinions on slightly more affordable options
that affect the image the least clarity and color shift wise.

Thanks

My thoughts... Rather than purchasing 52mm filters, by using step-up rings to 77mm you will gain coverage for any future lens purchases which may have wider fronts than 52mm. It would also give you standard 80mm hard fronts for your lenses in the event you purchase a matte box. I would also recommend purchasing the best filters you can afford, as if you take care of them they will last a lifetime.

All the Best!

Dave thanks for the advice and I'll absolutely consider it.
In regards to actual brands/makes do you have any suggestions?

Thanks Dennis. I should have posted earlier, I decided to go with the Tiffen Water Whites.
I feel in the end it won't just be a better image quality for myself but also if I would sell them down the road they would most likely hold their value decent.

I'm extremely happy David made the light bulb go off in my head about getting 77mm rather than 52mm. I was all set to buy the 52mm's thinking I had no plans of getting
77mm lenses and the very next day I decided to purchase a Tokina 11-16 which has 77mm.
