ND filter for Nikon 50mm f1.4?

Hey all- just picked up an old Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.4 prime lens and a fotodiox adapter (seems to work great together) for my 7D.

I'd like to be able to shoot video outdoors with this lens at about f1.4 - f2.8, in that range.

I know the challenge will be not overexposing (would like to keep shutter speed at about 1/60 for motion reasons).

Given all that- what 52mm ND filter setup would you suggest?
 
I suggest looking up something called a "Fader ND". It'll give you the flexibility to reduce between 2-8 stops of light instead of buying multiple NDs. Make sure to get the biggest one you can afford and use step-up rings. That way, one filter can accommodate many lenses of different sizes.
