Navitar 6mm F1.4 C mount

CS-mount is made to focus on an image plane that's 12.52 mm away from the sensor.
C-mount is made to focus on an image plane that's 17.52mm away from the sensor.

You can mount a C-mount lens on a CS-mount camera, if you use a 5mm spacer. But you can't put a CS-mount lens on a C-mount camera. It would have to literally sit 5mm inside the camera body in order for it to be able to focus.

(I think my 12.52 and 17.52 numbers are correct, but they're coming off the top of my head so if the actual numbers matter, be sure to google 'em...)

Barry, thanks!
I guess i will throw out my 1/2" CCTV cs lenses (< $10 cost) before I try them on my GH2. if I understand what you're saying, I might end up damaging my sensor trying to fit this lens!

having said that, what 6-8mm c-mount lenses have been confirmed to work with the typical adapters available for the micro 4/3 cameras?

Main concern I have using a deeper c mount adapter is of the rear element of the lens gets in to close and goes beyond the shutter line.
I kinda gave up on many CCTV C Mounts (except the fujian 35mm f1.7 and pentax 25mm f1.4) i've wasted too much time and money on these impulse buys and some just not worth it.

Saying that...Ive recently moved to Pentax 110 lenses...somebody stop me but damn they're cool! haha

These are links to C-MOUNT 1/2 and 2/3 fast wide angle lenses that probably would fit GH2 and would fill the ETC 2.6x sensor area (some lenses needs modification in body or rear barrel):

the rule to find the 35mm equivalent focal lenght is:
C-Mount focal lenght / 8.3 x 43,2 = full frame 35mm equivalent

Observation: I do not know if some of them are fish eye
