Nat Geo is one of my favorite channels.
How do they get those colors , can the A1 do similar or get close to it.

Nice work, Disjecta. I've seen some of your footage before and I do have your VividRGB preset already . Apart of the preset what shutter speed would you use on very sunny day? I live in Aruba, here is very sunny and bright the whole year. I've been using VividRgb with 500 t0 250 speed and have managed to capture nice footages.

Interesting - I am sitting in a Nat Geo edit suite right now (the Channel, not Society). It's like everything else, nice camera, good operator and color correct in post. There is also crap that airs (especially news/historical docs). I am amazed sometimes at the quality of HD sitting in the edit suites and watching it in pristine 1080 or 720 on nice monitors. Also, they just hooked up the suites at Nat Geo Channel with Genelec 5.1 speakers with massive subs. You can get the rooms shaking pretty easy (Dinosaurs biting each other, etc.).
