Narrative-ish music video "SPLIT VISIONARY"

I watched this without sound, and made it only half way through. It looks good...and the editing at first was cool and i got what you were going for...but it became way 2 much for me. Just 2 much flashing and cutting going on. Its cool at first because it sets up what you want to achieve and relay to the audience ..but as you get more into the vid I think i should be slowed down a bit and give the audience some time for their eyes to settle some.

I disagree with Jambredz , I loved the video and it works. Flashing thoughts and cut fast brings the audience right into the world. Maybe not something you can watch over and over again as it is pretty intense, but I think the message and concept was clear, good job.

Still, Jambredz' point is well taken. I was definitely going for a kinetic edit, but because its like that the whole way through, I can see how it can get numbing for some. Contrasting the rat a tat tat with slower passages definitely would have added impact when it does go hard. (Maybe I could have interspersed still shots of the guy in his world and set that against the rapid fire thought images.) Either way, its a good lesson, and will definitely try to keep it front of mind.
