NAB 2019 rumors (and releases)

I heard a rumor that the NAB 2016 page might get a name change to NAB 2019. Not holding my breath though...

Blackmagic Design is going to have a pretty big update to Davinci Resolve at NAB...Grant mentioned that on his most recent video where the Ursa Mini Pro G2 was released.

A few weeks ago Canon Rumors also had posted rumors of Canon (finally) making their Cine primes in PL mount along with reducing sharpness and contrast in the PL mount versions. The first part I find plausible, the second not so much. They also mentioned a possible 100mm prime.

A7S III will be announced at NAB, it'll be a showstopper.

It Shirley will. Seriously, anymore info on the big firmware update for the X-T3 you mentioned a couple of months ago? You mentioned they were going to remove the limit time for recording along with other things.

I will be on the NAB floor on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. I am confident it will be worthwhile but I don't expect the runaway hype on a few products that we saw a few years back.

Just out of curiosity, why do most people bag at how the 8-bit 160 Mbps XF-AVC/MP4 from the C200 must be so terrible (it's actually quite good), yet the 8-bit from all of the Sony A7 variants is never discussed, just that the Sony A7 variants are so great?
I bought the Fuji X-T3 over a Sony largely because of internal 10-bit (and far superior color science).
