Jim Jannard just announced full 4k color moving footage off the Sensor.

This is pretty exciting... as it keeps them on track schedule wise. This means there is a very good chance we will see 4k footage at IBC.. and gets them once step closer to putting a camera in the people's hands.

Congratts to RED for this incredible accomplishment.

I think I just shi* my pants...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

No...I guess not, but it was a close one...

Yes, it's great news. I can't wait to get to work on the images myself. Given that the sensor is the heart of the camera, this is more than just good news!

OK! Jim, how about a single frame grab from the test?! I can't make love with my wife if she doesn't see a single grab from the footage...

Well done to Red....Just what we expected really...........:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

The Red camera will bring cinematic digital quality at its best, right into the hands of many people that previously could not afford such luxury. The Revolution has began in earnest........hide for cover yee doubters

We still have a LONG way to go. But the sensor won't be the holdup.

Jim

I take this as not only did you get images off the full sensor but you are getting the quality you expect as well!

Grats!

Wow....This is fantastic news! Can anyone from the RED team share any thoughts or unexpected suprises as a result of the test?....:)
