Mysterious Canon 7d dot/spot

Maybe you guys can help.

I have a mysterious dot that is showing up on my video shots, always in the same spot.

The thing is, it is only at 60fps 1280 & 640.

It does not show up at other speeds or on my still pictures. It isn't from the lens, I tried multiple, same spot still shows up. I don't believe it is from the shutter mirror, cleaned it.

Here is a screen shot from the dvd.
Here are some screen shots from a FCP project, blown up to 400x.
First, second, third, fourth.
First three pictures are taking from the raw footage. The fourth is from me shooting with the lens cap on.

Here is a video link too.

The dot seems to change in intensity from scene to scene. But it may be just the background. It isn't that big a deal for most viewers, but it bothers the crud out of me. It seems to become that much more obvious, when making a SD DVD, but that could just be me. I will probably post the entire video after this weekend and I will put up a link on here.

Your help is MUCH appreciated.

thanks!

looks like a dead pixel to me. you should be able to get it serviced and repaired, although I'm not sure how much it will cost.

Manual cleaning of what? I used compressed air and blew out the inside and used a brush to wipe off the mirror with a lens cleaning brush. I may send it in to Canon, but wanted to do all that I could before sending it away.

go to manual sensor cleaning ,turn it on and wait 10 seconds then turn off cam and on,white dot will disappear, you can come back here happy again to confirm that its gone.
Why 60p ? Cause it skips different lines than in 1080p mode.
