The storyline is very very similar to a chinese movie staring Andy Lau. I forget the name, watched it when I was a kid.

Anyhow, some very nice shots you have...and the audio is great!

Thanks!

Btw, here's episode 2:

On "The Letter" when he fell to the ground coughing after ambushing the guy in the parking garage; have you considered a transition into the flashback? I think that could lead the viewers better into the next scene of him getting the denial from the insurance company.

What lenses were you using for this one?

Under the circumstances, we didn't have the time to do it. Plus, that short was for a contest in which the film had to be under 3 minutes. But we definitely want to get into the characters more if we ever get a chance to expand that project into a movie or a series.

For both projects, we're primarily using a 24-70mm EF lens. We also have a 50mm prime and an 18-50mm kit lens, but the EF has the best balance of flexibility and speed.

I enjoyed it (only watched the first episode so far) - good cinematography and acting was well done. The older woman was a little stiff - perhaps a couple more rehearsals might have helped them, or that could have been the intent.

Regardless, well done.

you have shutter 1/50 or 1/60 all the time?
Cause on 1/50 canons can look like camcorder on deep focus shots and your stuff looks ok.

It was very important to maintain 1/50 at all times for smooth motion blur. We preserve a shallow DOF outdoors with a couple of ND filters to cut the light.
