bluespider - thanks for sharing your insight on what you learned, i was originally going to MB the whole thing too!

Peter - yes, the guy in the brown leather jacket was done with just an increase in contrast and some increase in saturation.  I did not use MB for that shot.  I used Vegas's color correction tools.

Iamloser - Thanks for that very helpful reply.  I agree with you on the MB stuff.  A lot of my footage looks nice and soft after I add MB.  I will go and try to match the colors with the certain look.  It took almost 20 minutes to render a 1 minute clip at 740x480 with all the MB processing.

hillcity - haha sup bro.  glad you liked my work.  I agree with the curahee.  that was my favortie color scheme as well.  I'm shooting the action sequence this weekend and next weekend as well.  just finished choreagraphy today and am busy doing some last minute storyboarding.  its gonna be a crazy time tommorow for me, pray for me!!

We are shooting basically at the gateway as well as this alleyway near Vermont avenue. yea man, let me know if you wanna check us out sometime

Mater Pedestal -6 is for the best blacks. And for detail level, don't go that high, it will give you artificial edges around things, its ugly. They say that detail on -3 will give you the best results without artificial edges. All this info I have got from this site:

Bluespider, as it stands we are probably going to be shooting this saturday morning, time unsure of yet. my crew and cast are just friends so it depends on their schedules. its gonna be at that gateway

thanks JKL! I am going to set the detail level on -3. I actually heard -3 is good, but you confirmed it.
