My short "The Crawl Space"

What was this shot on? What lenses used? What dolly, glidecam etc... What for sound? LIghting?

Excellent camera movement, it really added to it. Good score, good edits, the colors were amazing. I really like this little film.

ahh, sorry, so used to people leaving that sort of info out that i completely missed it.

This was a great short, i really enjoyed it. For a moment somewhere i really thought you were going in another direction, then once i was back on track i liked where you took me.

Excellent use of camera movement. I know those shots take a bit to setup, but it was worth it in the end in this case. I like your sparse use of dialogue, and good images. How did you move the bed in that one scene? lol.

Im really surprised at how well the HV30 did without a lens adapter or anything. Of course you still could have benefitted from one, but the colors are really beautiful especially outside. I thought you could have selected something a little different for the scarier thing once he was inside, but not a big gripe.

I hope you continue to make these, you obviously have a talent for it.

About the image....very nice.

But... soundwise..could be a lot better.

- I mis the sounds of the bed creeping and squeeking, the footsteps of the mom
coming in the room, the light switch... More ambiance sounds (street, tv downstairs...)

- It looks to much like a music clip for me... Music is very important in film.... But it's not the only sound thing thats exist...

Maybe I'm going to download it and do some sound stuff on it :-p

There was someone behind the bed pushing it ha.

Ya I wanted something scarier to emphasize it more, but I just ended up using my friend who does amateur UFC fighting, I was going for an ogre type deal.

If I had more time then I would of definitively put more effort into the sound aspect of the short. I had a deadline for college applications and had to film this and edit it pretty quickly. After sending it out I haven't touched it because I want nothing to do with it ha, too much stress was involved. Maybe later I'll delve into the sound. I had to make a lot of compromises with this short, but I'm still happy with the way it came out.

With the level of cinematic look, I easily over look the audio mishaps, heck I'm horrible at sound.

Nice to see you post this here
