my reel, my work

I used to keep up on these boards a lot but fell out of the loop. Anyways, i just made a little new website full of a bunch of my most recent work, including a demo reel of sorts.
There is a collection of music videos i have directed/cut (sometimes shot) on Various formats on the site over the past year and a bit. 35mm Film, 16mm Film, HVX/mini 35 and DVX/mini 35 work. let me know what you think.

Awesome stuff!

Whats the name of the song and band of the one on the top right? I hear that song ALL the time on the radio.

Amazing work. What format did you shoot on for the bomb-in-the-building video? And what did you do for color correciton/effects?

Bomb Hands was shot on 35mm film, Transfer and Color were done at Rainmaker in Vancouver.

The Song for the video on the top right is "Tongue Tied" By Faber Drive. Its #9 on the muchmusic countdown this week.

Really top notch stuff man... you have any other stuff besides music videos? would love to see em if you do

for the faber drive video im guessing you shot that on 35mm, but what was the fps for the band water scenes? that was insanely awesome man.... not only was it an amazing video it was an amazing song... i have shown most of your stuff to my friends and colleges and i cant tell you that the bands you shot for just got more money from CD sales! haha keep up the awesome work!

yeah, it was 35mm. The slow mo water is 150fps. Very happy with how it turned out for sure (wasnt sure it was going to be slow enough for what i wanted - was going to get a phantom for it but glad we didnt). Feel free to ask as many questions as you want pertaining to any of the videos, i like answering them.

yeah i figured it was at least over 100fps... came out really nice as i said before... so was that just with a reg type film cam? i didnt think normal cameras went that high (fps wise)

did you happen to know 10 second epic or something prior to working with them? because i noticed you did a lot of their videos...
