Hey all,
Thought you might be interested in my recent documentary on Prince Edward County. It was all shot on my Canon XH-A1 using 24f , TRUCOLOR preset, and...-3dB most of the time. I find on export, that h.264 crushes a lot of the skin detail no matter how high the bitrate, any ideas?. Edited in ProRes.

Nice production well paced and produced thanks for posting. I'd like to see more of what those people were describing, winter scenes tourists in summer etc but that's me :) A small led light would help interviewees, liked the opening credits. Skin detail looked Ok here, don't know ProRes.

Where is it being shown?
Cheers.

It was funded and shown at an Artscape Conference in Toronto called 'Creative Places and Spaces'. Yes, a LED would have worked well. The production started at the END of the tourism season, so it was difficult time wise, and budget wise, to get all the events they were talking about at the end. But I agree, it would have put some meat to what they were saying.
