Nice Rig, can be mounted on a tripod without dissembling?

Cheers

Yes, according to manufacturer.
I believe it is one of the best rig options.
One thing that I don't like is that you can't adjust camera side to size, but this can be accomplished by adjusting shouler mount, as I understand.

how much is that rig? I know a guy who is working on a rig system to sell but doesn't know how to price it.

Have you used it for prolonged sessions yet? No "front-heavi"-ness? I mounted weights on the back of my shoulder pad.

I have this same mount, just used it for shooting a band last weekend. 3x 1 hour sets, and I thought my arms were going to fall off.

It definitely needs to be weighted down in the back (I have one). No idea how to attach weights though (I mean, what to buy/use? There's 4 1/4" holes in the shoulder pad.) anthony, how did you mount the weights? What did you use?

Perhaps John C. will share with us what he means, but for myself: I prefer using the GH1's viewfinder to its LCD when recording because the VF is much higher-res than the LCD. It's difficult or impossible to use the VF when the cam is mounted in a typical shoulder rig configuration.

It's a trade-off between the extra stability of a shoulder rig vs. the improved ease of focusing when using the VF. YMMV.

Looks impossible, ATLMG. Quit while you're ahead. LOL! :-)

My currently no-frills rig will be expanding once a few additional bits arrive later this week. I'll post pics after I assemble it. Cheers.
