Hey guys, Thought I'd share a few sample pages from my new comic-book series, The Overground. I'm the creator/writer. We're hoping to land a twelve issue series, fingers crossed....

Edited: All pages can now be found at www.myspace.com/overgroundcomic

Thanks!

Hey, thanks guys! It's been a blast writing this. I'll post more pages as they come in over the next week.

Thanks :)

whats your medium? classic pen paper & ink or digital tablet + photoshop/other package?

Very impressed by your work!

I believe these guys are working with tablets, all three of the artists have been doing this for a while. However this is my first comic book attempt. I use a pencil and napkin.

;)

I'm glad you caught that, it was my little homage' to those guys. The Weathermen play a huge part in the series and even blow a few things up :)

That's got a great premise. So.....what do the weathermen do? What makes it so hard for them to engage people in the open? The United Democratic, is that the whole wide world or just a particular nation? What is the governing system of the people?

Very cool..... post more when you can. :)

Ah, some good questions, all answered in this book and the rest of the series ;) I'll definitely post more pages in a few days when they come in. I'm glad you guys dig it. I've only shared this here and at the done deal boards, I never had a chance to share it with anyone so I'm glad it's not a total failure :) Hopefully a publisher out there digs it too.

It obviously left me wanting to know more. :) Just like its supposed to. Would love to see how the characters develop, who they are and how they evolve, and how well you create the world you want to take us to.

Keep us posted....

I will! Thanks for all the support guys :) It keeps me jazzed up. It's been a weird day, we already had two small pubs email us about these first six pages, wanting us to send them the rest. Weird considering nothing really happens in these first 6.

Kinda cool.

I'm not the artist on the series, I'm the creator/writer. Once the project is finished I can send you his contact info. Thanks again guys, I'll post more pages later this week.
