MUSIC VIDEO: My music video

DANG, people are unnecessarily harsh, critical, and tougher than shoe-leather buzzard steak around here!

I have two reactions:

1) Freaked me the &^$#&^% OUT, which I'm assuming was the intended reaction...

2) Within that genre (of "freaking me out" type stuff), I thought it was very creative, well-shot and edited,
and there was nothing wrong with the images (quality-wise) at all. Were the black & whites stock/old footage, or
did you just shoot them to look that way?

well i'm still fairly new to this so at the time I was using a panasonic pd170. I was editing between fcp and afx which was a pain and I lost quality. as I said the effects are incomplete.
Also the back ground images I used for the green screen where from a 1933 film called lot in sodom.
Appreciate your feed back!

I'd like to see more hippo-boar humping action... perhaps with less clothes... I mean if you're going to be surreal... go for the gusto...

On the issue of 'greenscreen' and dropping the results into 'something else'... the effect sort of reminded one of early 80's technology... then you mention a 'panasonic'... pd170?

In any case, SD is not all that great for trying to do green screen. But I think if you 'match' the blacks better the composited images may 'work better'.

As for 'losing' resolution... when you do work in After Effects, export the results using the 'animation' codec, from FCP to AE and from AE to FCP. Expect large, large files, but that is a 'lossless' codec,
and so no degradation.

dude! it was great! good work
you have some good ideas here.
you should be proud
in some ways the video is better than the song :)

thanks for the feed back it's much appreciated! Just left my degree as they weren't teaching me anything and didn't want to waste anymore money, so trying to teach myself and purchase my own equipment.
So appreciate any advice.
