FEATURE: My Movie in Wal-Mart, RedBox, Netflix, iTunes, etc! - MADISON COUNTY

Hey guys!

Sorry for not updating as much as I'd like.. this film has consumed my life. Props to Matt & Gary and all the other filmmakers out there who update their threads while shooting. You guys are Gods! Haha

Life has been great and crazy since Madison. We're about to start editing. It's gonna take forever to get the RED footage at a place where we can cut it, but I'm excited.

The shoot went great! We came in on schedule (18 days) and pulled off a ton of stuff! We were shooting roughly 6 pages a day and some days pulling off between 30-45 set ups! We were shooting from sun up to sun down-- but as most shoots go, we weren't getting out first shot off as soon as we needed, so we actually only did about 8-9 hours of shooting a day. The rest of our day was spent setting up things, lunch, and traveling. We were literally driving all across NorthWest, Arkansas. Not something I'd suggest for lower budget films, but we made it happen!

The last week of filming was AMAZING! We had ALMOST HUMAN on set and our killer arrived and we just covered the entire corner of the state in blood. Can't wait to share some stories and footage! We had Bloody-Disgusting, Dread Central, and Fangoria come visit us on set. A great time was had by all! I'll be posting up their articles as soon as they're ready! Here's a quick peek of things to come from DREAD CENTRAL! A few behind the scenes pics!

Overall, at 22 years old-- I have a film that I'm super proud of and a team of people that I love like family. My producers Daniel Dunn and Ace Marrero were so great and really provided me with everything I needed to make a great film. My crew had to put up with my crazy style of shooting (I LOVE to press the red button as much as possible ;)) and learned that I like to move fast. My actors gave me GOLD and we really pushed them to the limits.

We've got some GREAT FX work in the film and I think a lot of careers will blossom from this film. I don't know how I'm going to top this film, but it's not a bad way to start out! Can't wait to show you guys more!

If you wanna find out more about how the shoot went, or wanna follow the film, I urge you to "Like" the Facebook Page. It's basically our diary of all things Madison County. We update every little detail.. it's almost too much :P

I haven't gotten a chance to even start my own thread I've been so busy editing it. I'm sure we both feel the same way about our movies right now, IT OWNS. All I can say is Huss is GREAT and thank you so much for the hook up! I made him get a lap dance from an extra large girl while she ate a hoagie... Hahahahahaha.... Ask him about it sometime lol...

I can't wait to see your film man, everything I've seen of it so far screams that it's gonna kill.:kali:

Thanks bud!

Just finished watching the latest cut and it's SICK! So proud of the movie. It flows really well and it looks amazing.

Official trailer and Posters are in the works!

I cant wait to see this film.. You guys did a great job.. the picture and sound. was amazing.. how much of the sound was adr.. ive watched alot of indie films on here and your film just seems to have the missing touch to the sound...

Terry

We actually did very little ADR. All of the sound in the trailer is production audio. ADR was completed after the trailer was done. Glad you dig it.. my production sound mixer is the MAN!
