FEATURE: My Movie in Wal-Mart, RedBox, Netflix, iTunes, etc! - MADISON COUNTY

Siiiiiiiiiick poster brother!!! Wish I could have made it out to the screenings, but of course Huss and I were shooting... Just let me know where I can buy the blu-ray!!!

This is amazing! How do you get the budget to do something like this? Do you pay all your actors? Wish I could do something like this ha...

Would you mind letting us know what the budget was on this film? Ive got to say it looks amazing and truly well put together. Kudos!

Thanks fellas! A lot of behind the scenes type info can be found in my personal blog.. I get very candid about my films so far and where I'm headed:

http://ericengland.blogspot.com/

But the quick rundown: The budget was around $75k.. we did pay the main actors (extras were free), but the actors didn't get paid much.. nor did the crew. Just how low budget filmmaking goes..

Dude, that is awesome. Just watched the vid on your blog showing your premiere... that must have felt amazing. How did you amass a budget like that? Combination of loans & savings? Kickstarter? So when do us normal people get to see the movie? After you've looked for a distribution deal?

Thanks! It was definitely a surreal feeling.

The budget was all private financing. If you read my blog, it explains how I made an experimental feature that I paid for myself (for like $3500) and used that as a pitch tool (along with the promo trailer) to get the financing for Madison County. It paid for by family of friends and friends of friends. I think we had 4 investors total.

As for when the film will be out.. It's looking like in the first quarter of next year. We're waiting until after AFM to announce our distribution, but I can't wait to get it out there!

Still not able to announce the distro.. but it's in place and the film is coming out VERY SOON! Proud to have it finished and being released soon.

Next month, the film will be playing in my home state of ARKANSAS and I couldn't be more proud to be playing it back home! More news as I can release it :)
