Hello everyone, I've been around but mostly lurking, I got myself a t2i a few years ago and never used it more than just for photography and doing some silly parody films, this past July, I went and shot a music video about teen being bullied and got to actually loving it can produce.
Using the T2i and the standard kit and a 50mm F1/8, a Tascam DR-05 with a shotgun Beyerdynamic mec86 mic, flood of lights on scenes, and a cheap Kodak Zx3 waterproof camera for underwater shots, did this all with 1280x720 60fps as we used a bit of slow-mo on a few areas. Dolly shot was using the Tripod Dolly ($40) at the high school's scene. at the time of the shoot, I didn't get a focus ring, so all the focusing was done manually while 'framing' and 'moving' the camera (a pain) lol Just got the DSLR-Solutions' $60 focus kit so will be doing more with it.
Some effects done in AE and a small color correction done using Magic Bullet Colorista II, 3D animation done by the Fiorella Brothers.
Singer is from Sweden and this is a retro 80 pop styled music.
