Hello all, I just wanted to give Mark Whalen some props. I bought my HMC from him used and he was great to deal with. The camera is in great shape and I can't wait to shoot a lot with it. I just got my rig all set up so here are some photos:

whoa that is badass...what are the metal bars on the tripod for? Some sort of glide?

I am getting mine from B&H tomorrow...but it won;t be nearly as pretty as yours. Can I ask how much you got everything for?

The metal bars are rods that you can use to mount accessories like a follow focus or matte box, both of which are used on this rig.

Correct, The 7" LCD only has RCA. No HDMI. But it works fine just to see a bigger screen.

Just search ebay for Haier HLT71 7'' LCD you can get them for under $50, the have a rechargeable battery so you can use run off that for a few hours.

I've been looking for a cheap monitor, and that might be the one for me. What kind of threads are at the bottom? I've got an HMC150 and I'm wondering if I need to add an extra shoe on the handle or just use a ball head...

Rig looks great!

How much was the battery? Do you know if this will also work with a 7D?

Camera looks beast with all that equipment on it. Also, nice footage. Turned out really clear. What kind of light setup were you using?
