My first vid with a T2i - 30 second ad

Myself and two of my friends just went to the field today and I brought this thing along with me as it was a good chance to test it out.

I brought a 50mm prime with me, but in the end just ended up using a kit lens. It worked out well I think.

Constructive criticism is very welcome. I actually LONG for it.

Not bad. It is a testament to the kit lens. The kit lens gets a bad rap, it's a damn good lens on it's own. If people are comparing to primes then of course the kit lens isn't that great. I love the kit lens and don't let anybody tell you it's crap. Anybody.
 
The kit lens just like most lenses are excellent. I think what most people dislike from the lens is the variable f stop / slow aperture. So as long as you are not placed in low light situations and are not zooming during a shot you should be fine.

Also to comment on the original posters footage it looks great, awesome job! The colors really pop out and I love the image.
