My first T2i test short film. Almost looks like RED one!

Red Herring is an indie and it also stars Vincent Pastore (Sopranos) Holly Vallance (DOA, Taken) Chyna McCoy (Matrix I, II) the mayor of Vegas, playmate of the year, and many others. This is the first time I directed a film outside of Cali.

If you like what you see here then you'll like our next feature titled "Kungfused"

Kungfused

- Jackie Chan will be proud. :)

Greeches- once I get some free time I will do more but this time do some fast moving action stuff. We'll see how the T2i holds up.

Thanks everyone.

Can I please have some more info on you and what exactly you do, obviously you are a professional working in the industry and any tips you can give us would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Cieloent, I'm just a regular guy who likes making films. I started out directing then I found out I needed to learn more so I moved to editing. Since then I've edited 9 features and countless other projects from docs, commercials, music videos, porn, and education videos. Now I just focus on directing and just making good films. I tend to stay low key sort of like a ninja. Thanks for your comment.

My advice would be to listen, watch, practice, be humble, and be good with your crew.

Haha, wow, you've edited porn? Haha, quite the contrast together with documentaries and music vids.

Anyway, I already managed to look at the Kungfused on iMDB, too, after I looked Red Herring up there. Absolutely can't wait to see a trailer or something of the sorts. The name itself is cool already! Ah, you also used the Kungfused movie-plate thingie (what do you call these, the thing you click-clack together and say ACTION!?) in this short movie.

Anyway, great stuff, man! Keep the good work up! :) Will be cheering on from Cyprus, hehe! :)

Very cool. I liked it. I love that you tagged the clip with "Justin Beiber", too funny.

The T2i is a great little camera. It has one of the best costs to quality quotient of almost anything out there.

Bluespider: Wow! awesome. So do you strictly direct? Are you here in the states? noticed it did says cambodia on your location. I would like to maybe work under your wing some day, I have been doing video editing and videography for the last 3 years due to a back injury. I was teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu here in vegas till I had this injury and had to steer clear of my love and passion. I picked this hobby up since then and am still in the learning process. Please let me know.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I was kidding about editing porn. My small bit of orgasim....I mean sarcasim. Anyway, I'm shooting another real short soon after I finish Red Herring. It's crazy work but when its all and done, we hope some folks will enjoy the film. It's a wonderful feeling of accomplishment then its on to the next feature.

I still amazed by what this little camera can do. It is crazy and a dream come true to some hobbist filmmakers. Once I build my little ghetto steady rig I will let you know the results. Looking forward to getting rid of that jello even though I do like jello...the raspberry kind.

Chris, yes he did say Just "Beaver". It's his Asian accent kicking in. :)

Thanks again for viewing everyone.

I was born in Cambodia but I live here in the ghetto US of A. I do just about eveything from direct, to plant flowers in the garden to trim the hair off someone...well you get the idea. Making movies is fun and sometimes I enjoy just watching others make movies. Lately, I've been hired just to direct.

I used to study martial as a kid and still do a little sparing here in there. Sorry about your back injury. That's why I try not to go to crazy then again I almost sprained an ankle from just walking.

You're more than welcome to come and watch me work. Then again, you'll probably just see a bunch of Asian people talking really fast and doing backflips.
