my first short film : "Solma"

That was excellent. Nice clean cinematography and the ending put a big smile on my face. The audio was a bit out of synch but I trust that was Vimeo's fault and not yours. Only complaints I have is that some of the cuts were a bit jarring, but that's more of a style preference and not an issue with how you made the film, and that the acting of the guy in the white shirt was noticeably better than the guy in the dark shirt. Overall I thought it was great.

thnx man, im going to re-upload a diff video with the audio slightly changed a bit, hopefully its better this time.

Nice, good acting.
It would've deserved better sound quality though. Nice shots of the cat at the end.
What was the equipment you used?

IMO you should take advantage of shallow DOF in this cam to make it more filmic/cinematic,now it looks like regular camcorder.

the shooting area was too small so i had to use my 28mm wide lense, shot it with my t2i and used the belvon 7000 tripod, as far as the sound, i used the zoom h4ns built in speakers, dont got money for dialogue mic yet.

I liked it. Opening sequence was to long, needs tightening, shots were good, but id like to have seen a couple of close ups on each actor, even if they were just reaction cut aways.

Your dark haired actor has a very nice almost young Vince Vaughn quality to his voice and the way he speaks, i woudl definetly work on writing some snappier dialogue for him next time, he could be really great.

white shirt

Also when your angled on white shirt his audio is good, but when your OTS of white shirt on black shirt his voice sounds far away
