MUSIC VIDEO: My First Professional Music Video

wow tough crowd. I think you had some nice shots, some of the framed things werent my favorites, and you could have maybe used some better lighting, but it seemed to sort of match the type of music.

I think professional just means he got paid for it.

Don't worry about that "professional" comment. I knew exactly what you were talking about. The video looks good. You had some nice shots and angles here. Where I come from $1000 is excellent money for a video. Think how much money you'd have if you could just do one a week.
 
Listen, I WISH I could get paid 1000 k for a video, I wish I could get paid 100 for a video, I watched this video, was it Hype Williams style work? No...was it good enough to call a professional video? Hell yea...way to go, and then way to get paid for your work AND deliver on your end! IF I were a musical artist and I saw this on your resume, I'd be willing to pay you for a video...and ultimately that's what this business is about, doing a great job so you can sustain a living!
 
I didn't like it very much, but I very rarely like anything that's all green screen (that doesnt have a massive budget). The whole thing just felt kind of cheap and trashy (although I get that you probably couldn't have helped that very much considering the talent). I also kind of got the feeling that you could have given the guy a bit more direction, it didn't really seem like he had any idea what he was doing. That being said, it's still a much much much better first effort than what I usually see around here, and if you keep working at it I think you could be putting out some pretty good work soon.
 
I thought it was pretty decent. Not my style of music at all but I thought it had some nice touches. I thought the lens flare was a little over whelming at points and you needed more of the booty :)

Nice work on getting paid...I haven't been that much for anything. And the only paid gigs I got were from friends...so nice work!
 
Hi papy,
Most of the elements in the video were nice. Julia was repeating same steps.
I have watched some other video's of Julia and found she has gained weight.
