my first edit

I liked the mood it conveyed...maybe some upward shots of the buildings and then bring it back down to the skateboard wheels...would be visually interesting and dramatize the environmental scale...ie...isolatation and scale of it all. Is your story specifically about the experience of skateboarding...or is Skateboarding being portrayed as an extension of this person's daily activities and life situation? If the last..then maybe some shots of the face...sad...pain....smirk..smile...happy..etc...perhaps with the moody feel of the current edit...some shots of him/her smoking or similar...give it a different texture and could contribute to a more obvious storyline.

I like it....lots of potential. You've given me some ideas that I may incorporate in a documentary I'm working on.

i liked the color/exposure- the grit and contrast gave a very new york streets feel. I thought it was a bit too shakey at times, i know that was a style preference, but in my opinion a couple set ups could have been a bit smoother in the camera movements.

otherwise well done, music blended well with the material and again the exposure was tight.

looks pretty good, mike. I'll have to throw some of my skate edits up on here. (I'm a rollerblader, but don't get the wrong idea. I've been skating for 7 years so it won't be something silly). I liked the colors a lot.

Should've done more tricks. Like a fakie 360 shove-it.

[ That's the best trick I was ever able to do :( ]
