How well would a Class 4 work in the HMC40? The manual says it does for the PH mode.

You also can unload it faster with class 6...
Really? while transfering files from a card to the computer, they all take about a GB per minute (class 4 & 6) i dont think is any faster... I think the limit is set by the USB transfer, maybe a different card-reader is in order for me  (non usb)
I am working on a run and gun doc right now and purchased 6 adata 32 gbs cards from frys. One week of hard shooting in and 2 of the 6 have failed. I should have known better but didn't have time to order anything else online before i left.
Adata and Transcends from Taiwan are so far pretty unreliable...
Anyone have Patriot problems ?
I just bought a 16gb class 4 Toshiba card. Seems really fast, on par with my 16gb Class 6 Panny ones. I can't seem to find a difference between them.
Where does one buy these "Patriots" from??
Mark,
Around what time and where from did you buy your Transcend card and HMC150? I'm curious if we can pin down a "bad batch" of either.
Also it wouldn't hurt to hang on to that SD card if you haven't tossed it yet, I'm sure we can come up with a series of diagnostics to run on the cards or if you don't want the hassle, mail the card to someone to troubleshoot.
I for one would love some way of knowing which cards will be prone to dying (aside from "don't use Taiwan Transcends" since it's affected Panasonic-brand, too)
