My First Aired Commercial with DVX100B

Ahoy all,

Check out my first aired TV Spot using a DVX100B for the most part (the guitar closeups were done with an XHA1, but the rest is all DVX).

Apologies for the YouTube Link, but my site is down, so this is it until tomorrow or whenever my server kicks in again. Just CHECK THE HIGH QUALITY BUTTON in the lower right please just so it looks good and not pixelated and blurry.

Odd thing is I didn't even shoot this with a commercial in mind. It was for an entirely different video, but involved Roselane Studio for B Roll. I was kind of slow the day I was there, so I shot a ton of studio shots out of boredom and later on decided I had enough to make a spot, showed it to the studio owner, and he went for it LOL.

When my site is back up I'll post a better version in a big ass H.264 frame :grin:
 
that is pretty cool that it got on air. you are brave taking your camera onto the shore with windy blowing sand around

im heading to ww crest in a few weeks, im very excite.

Actually it will air, submitted to the station over the weekend.

wow, that high-def actually looks really good. You got that from an XH A1? Did you upconvert the DVX footage with like 'Instant HD' or just import into the timeline and strecth it out?

Just imported it into the timeline and stretched it out.

The A1 shots are pretty obvious - but just in case - it's all the electric guitar shots only - ie the closeups of the orange guitar and the pan/glidecam across the rack.

Everything else is DVX100B.
