My first 60D footage, MMA fights in Costa Rica. Alberto Crane vs. Ludwing Salazar

I just returned from Costa Rica a few days ago. I went out there for my friends first pro MMA fight, and my brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor (Alberto Crane). I was planning on making a fun little documentary on the whole expedition, but I lost 90% of the footage due to hard drive failure. (or me failing to take better care of my footage, less on learned)

Things I learned:

*When shooting live documentary type footage, you'll probably be opening up your lens to let in as much light as possible. In result you get a really shallow depth of field which makes it very hard to stay in focus on a small LCD screen. Next time I might close the aperture a little bit and up the ISO to make it a little easier.

*You can't watch your friend get bombs thrown on him while focusing on shooting. It's better to give the camera to someone who doesn't care.

*Bring a hard drive that is small and can fit inside your pelican case to prevent damage. Actually bring 2 hard drives.

This is pretty much unedited:
