My first 3D design

WOW Kai. That's insanly good!

I'm not sure whether I should just delete Max now, or fire it up and not stop for 2 years.

I see, the horse and dude is the footage, which you camera tracked and replaced the background with a 3d race course, then added some particles emitters on where the horses back feet landed and also comped smome funky background colours, and some other wierd fading thing.

You might have used some kind of sketch animation plug in, something like this one:

Anyway that was wicked how ever you done it !!

You are just about right Anhar. But it's a sketch shader modified in Cinema4D. :)

Hudson, sorry I didn't mean to jack your thread. This is a motion test for a certain network's horseracing season (Kentucky Derby, etc).

I am onto the 3rd disc (of 4) in Digital Tutors 'Intro to XSI' CD Tutorial. I can honestly say I was so intimidated by the idea of 3D design and graphics as it seemed all so overwhelming. My tune is drastically different. I find it to be very intuitive and just plain easy to do.

I have only begun to scratch the surface; but I believe I just found a new hobby (LIke I need new ones). Here is my space bike 'So far...'

Stay tuned for the finished work soon!
