Hey fellow filmmakers...i need some love...i spent all of november and half of december working on these fx everyday before and after the day job, 3-5 hours a day...it's so exhausting:-KnockedOut(D...all fx you'll see here are done by me on after fx...it's just the clips that needed fx, but you'll probably get a good sense of the climactic action scene that takes place at the end of my film...all guns were rented replicas so all muzzle flashes and tracers were added...please let me know what you think...

check it out.

btw, it's a sci-fi movie and everyone's armed with explosive bullets...

thanks!

wow, never thot of it. i can't do makeup, but if you in the NYC area, i can refer you to the team that did the fx for me. as for the other digital work, i'd be up for it depending on the project, but it'd have to be after this film is done so say Spring time. thanks deckardScott1980. mc

just one quick update: as you can see in my signature, i've launched a new site and am selling dvds of the completed movie. thanks to all who've commented and given me feedback during that marathon post production period!!!! mc

hi, i use Adobe Flash for most of my site's video. that is the default skin Adobe Flash outputs with.

Good Lord!!!!!!!

I love the thrashing the big guy got toward the beginning, great blood and tracer effects! Also the pounding was frenetic and hectic and a great use of the overused shaky cam technique...

I hate to bump an old thread, but did you use spiffed up airsoft guns?

don't hate, mate. I'm OCD with the thread hits!!

i rented from The Weapons Specialists. see their site: www.weaponsspecialists.com

they supply guns etc, for East Coast tv/film productions like Law & Order and The Bourne Ultimatum. i used their non-functioning guns though and added my own muzzle flashes and shell case ejections digitally in post. hope this helps!
