Ah... I forgot that you were PAL. In NTSC contries, some monitors and screens have the ability to sense the 2:3 cadence of 24 -> pulldown and reverse it to progressive. This is why it is important to have a continous cadence throughout the program.

For PAL... did you download my MOEG2 encoding steps? Even though it is for NTSC 24p, the settings would still apply for PAL progressive sepecially the Interlace settings.

The only thing that was differend was the settings of the deinterlace thing, but I have tried some setting with that, but with the same bad results... :-/

Have tried Cinemacraft again, because of the very good reviews, and now I can get a decent picture out of it. And now the dvd plays progressive in a good way!   8)
