If you saw my post in Cafe ala DVX the other month you know that my wife and I both got Covid-19 (and have since recovered). Because I was stuck at home with nothing else to do I decided to document our journey (having no idea what would happen). After about 7 weeks of twists and turns I'm wrapping up the final cut on my screener that we're submitting for distribution through a few agents.
I released the trailer for the film this week and wanted to share it with everyone:
For the first two weeks of production the only tool I had available was my wife and I's iPhone 11pros (boy am I glad we upgraded in February....), because we were both unable to leave our apartment since we had the virus. After that a few generous friends transported half of my gear and my computer from my office to my apartment so I was able to continue on with my C200 and some better gear.
All in all I'm really pleased with how things are turning out (ya know besides getting the virus and having to deal with lingering side effects....). If you'd like to check out more about our film we'd love to have you join us on this journey: https://www.makinglemonade.film/
