C100: My Canon C100 Mark III Wish List!

Good list, pretty much mirrors what I want, though I'd prefer them to be more aggressive on the HD/2K. There's no reason it couldn't be a top of the line HD/2K camera + decent 4K.

Bonus Feature: Screen is on a moveable module like the C300.

Compromise: The inevitable Canon compromise I would accept is if it used the existing old sensor, but they unlocked a lot of the C500 recording options. That means we wouldn't get higher DR or cleaner image but we could have 2K, 4K and HFR without Canon feeling they need to protect the C300 MKII (and assuming the C300/500 are approaching end of manufacturing).

I feel if they use the new C300 MKII sensor they will cripple it too much.

good call. i'm still beyond satisfied with the image from my C100 - so a "premium" version of the C500 sensor would be acceptable but again, if they're gonna tout an older sensor, they need to price it right.

All the Sony FS5 specs on a c100 mark3 with the great Canon color science and 5000usd price tag.
I love to see some acessories add ons too, like a grip recolation, sholder mount.
And please please a good mirrowless camere for b cam with eos mount..please cano just grab the eos m body and put the Canon c100 sensor and specs...so so simple
Firmware upgrades? To unlock more features? Please, even if we had to pay...

I'll add something really basic: a stable handle. I like the audio controls where they are but cannot ever get that handle so it doesn't wobble... sigh...
 
I guess I was fortunate enough to not have any play/wiggle on my handle but I definitely think a better top handle would be good. Canon accessories would be nice too but I feel like they'd charge an arm and a leg for them (shoulder mount, grip relocator, etc.)
 
I imagine it would have similar specs to the FS5 with less slow-motion capabilities. Maybe not 10 bit 4:2:2 at 1080 either, but likely 8 bit 4K 4:2:0. I'd expect it to have the same auto-focus features of the C300 Mark II.
