My 16 gB P2 Rebate card came in!

I just got my 16-gig P2 card rebate in the mail!

Sweet.

For those keeping score at home, I submitted my rebate request and faxed a copy of the invoice on April 6.

Thanks! For me, the rebate was worth the wait, especially with the bump up to the 16-gig card.

Mine came via UPS Ground, shipped from Tramell Morgan in Memphis TN on 6/19.

I'm in California.
 
its been a few days so im assuming this is how its going to be, just a handful at a time then wait a few weeks then another handful... you would think we would have some priority over sales and hpx500

yeah i know what your sayin it just seems like theirs so few of us that they could have just finished us off really quick at once insted of just doin a few at a time
 
no kidding... i bought in march, had all my paperwork in by 4/15... still nothing. getting close to 3 months now (and the letter that came with barry's book said the cards were going out in may/june).

it's getting pretty dull just lurking on the forums and refreshing acbrebate.com every day...

Yeah, and they made a ton off of people like me that bought the HVX200 with the promise of the rebate. Let's not be so quick to allow them to do whatever they want, with the excuse that they are in business to make money. Maybe they can make a big wad by selling cameras and not sending the camera? Would that be ok in your "there in the business to make money" world?

I say a company that wants to stay in business over the long haul should make good on their promises and send the products promised in the purchase. When I get my 16 gig card, I'll be a happy Panasonic shopper. Right now I'm getting a little pissed off. Send the fricken cards!

my exact thoughts tony! i was fine with may/june timeline but make it may/june not july.... it would have made me less cranky if they said june/july cuz then at least i wouldn't feel lied to
 
Felt the same way. Called Panasonic and spoke to one of their reps in the area of
Rebates. She was quite nice, apologized for the delay due to the backlog of orders
but informed me my 16gb P2 card would be arriving in July. It got here at the end
of June actually. I'd originally put my order in the first week in March...

The question becomes what is available to you to remedy the situation.

Not much really.

All you can do is complain and hope someone intervenes on your behalf.
 
yesss! so my rebate still hasent come but i just got a email from bh sayin my 16gb i ordered from them was finally shipped. i ordered first week of march just to let anyone know whos also waiting their! finally my camera can actually be used for its purpose!
