I've been using Cineform w/ PPro2.0 and monitoring my HD video via the graphics card w/ overlay (Nvidia Quadro FX1500) and I'm not exactly stoked on this setup. First off, I'm not sure that it's truly accurate HD output, second, when I'm not playing a clip, the output monitor is black. This means when you are doing titles, or color correction, you can't see your changes untill you play the clip. In a word, it sucks.
I think I want the equivalent of the Matrox MXO box that FCP users get to use. Are there any other HD cards that work with premiere pro that will do this for me? I don't need ingest, just a trustworth HD output that works well with Premiere.
