Yup, I had this a few weeks ago and posted it here also. I found that it is only footage shot in certain picture profiles that was effected, mine was S Gamut. The Cine PP's seem to be fine. I have logged the issue with adobe but who knows if we'll see a fix.

Yes. Known and documented. Search for the thread here which discusses. It is a Premiere issue and Adobe is aware.

They better hurry up, yesterday I was playing around with FCPx and honestly that software is sweet and current.

I''m not sure if I will have the energy to learn and switch but for sure this will be in the back of my head for the next few days. My CC suscrition is due to renew next month

I couldn't tell you which gamma choices cause the flashing, all I can say is at the moment it's a small percentage of what's available on the camera. But the only way to be safe is shoot some test footage in the desired PP and see if it occurs. Not ideal, but a simple enough work around.

To add to this, I have found that Premiere interprets Slog3 in XAVC-Intra and XAVC-Long differently with XAVC-L coming out darker when comparing the two. Now, when the darker XAVC-L flashes, that brighter frame actually matches the brightness of the XAVC-I recording.

When comparing both clips in Resolve or Catalyst Browse, both clips look exactly the same. There is definitely something amiss with how Premiere decodes the XAVC-Long recordings. It's been frustrating as I prefer to shoot XAVC-L, but at least it didn't flash before.

Hi, same here, i shooted 4K fs7 XAVC-L cinei Slog3 rushes and when playback in PP cc 2015 Level changes during playback.
If playback same rushes with PP cc2014 or catalyst, there is no problems. Do someone have a solution or is it adobe CC 2015 bug ? Thanks in advance.

My solution inside my editing project is to send rushes in after effects with dynamic links or outside, trancode rushses via catalyst prepare to .mp4...
It was the first and the last time i shoot XAVC-L with my FS7 in cine ei slog3 mode. There is too much banding in rushes compare to XAVC-I and editing problems Inside PP. So i will need more XQD cards and more SSD for backup... why sony doesn't creat better codec than this XAVC-L, i have FS100 with avchd codec who seems really better than that, even XAVC-S seems to be far better on my A7RII but they are not in slog3 only rec709....
