MXF clips cut short during import

Hey guys,
I have a quick question - i've searched the web to no avail.

I downloaded all the footage from the p2 drives to my macbook pro, everything worked fine until i loaded the clips into final cut 6.0.6 and viewing in quicktime for that matter. I seems that all my footage gets cut in half and in view in QT - have no clue why this is happening. This is the first time i've used Mac for HVX footage.

Any ideas?
 
How about some specific details about hardware and software including version numbers?

And a screen shot of what you are seeing?

Also, did you copy the full p2 volume intact include the lastclip.txt file and six corresponding folders?
