I shot mute (no audio) DVCPRO50 - packshots - to a P2 card and got .mxf files as expected.
Used DVCHD Pro to convert mxf video files to avi files.
When I bring in the avi files to PremPro 2 the generation of peak files (no audio)took longer than the avi conversion or the file transfer.
How do I eliminate this pointless process ?
Note: in the P2 Contents folder were audio files of various sizes but I did not use these.
