a spontanious few hours in my local green space. filming a friends pop promo, where I wanted to try messing about with the film look settings on my dvx from posts I have read here .
cropped , made b&w and added a layer of old 8mm projection footage over the top, while editing in fcp and added previous live recorded footage job done in 1 day .

any constructive comments welcome .

I'm curious about music videos. Is there a standard workflow to follow? How many times do you all film the musician(s) before making the video? Do you record the audio separately and timecode sync it together?

hey Damon ...i checked out ur site and i luv that Micky Factz Rockin and Rollin video....and the song iz off the chain! dem dudes got swag. between them and the camera work, and song. really kept me interesting given it was just them singing in one spot.
