Anyone who's has a browse thru my Exp Room page may have well already seen this. For those who haven't, its a clip I shot, edited and produced for a TV show I do here in OZ on the Foxtel Network (pay TV).

Thought I might share it, I shot it back in March. I started filming again today for our 4th Series which will go to air at the end of October. I was just looking at some of the old footage I shot and was thinking how much different the show ill be this time round as it will be all shot and edited in HD 1080p, although it will be broadcast in SD. Anyway, here goes, feel free to critique if you wish!!
This was a ZERO budget shoot!

yup i remember this....that darn song was in my head all day lol....now i've done it again. damn u Shaun...lol. def liked it.

should look sick with the hmc this season. Gonna pass down the the dvx to the son now?

Thanks Daz, yeah my oldest son Josh will learn the DVX. He'll be using that for B cam stuff when we shoot weddings. We only use 1 cam when we do music videos so he's generally looking after the audio stuff and being our "on set crew assistant". Can't wait to get right into it all again with the HMC.

Nice work, Shaun!
Do you remember if you used a MB preset or custom setting?
Should be nice doing new ones with the 150!
Do you know if they will downconvert beforehand, or upon broadcast?
And how will you deliver to them?

Thanks Chuck, no MB preset, this was CC'd using Edius 4.5.

As for the HD stuff, we will film and edit in HD using edius 5. For the Foxtel Network we will downconvert the HD file to a Canopus HQ file and deliver that to them on DV tape. We have another network looking at the show which is free to air and they will require a full HD file for 1080i broadcast (if all goes to plan).
