Music Video Shot on XL2

Hi I directed and shot this russian rock music video.
Krivie Zerkala :grin:

I shot it with the XL2 and have to say I loved the camera.

I also DP'd a feature with DVX.
Well basically I want to say I like the XL2 more, but I really appreciate the DVX as well. I mean as long as we have choices :] And I would also appreciate any comments or questions.
 
I thought this was really cool. Such a bizarre sounding tune; in a good way. It had this really early 80's Alternative New Wave sound Vibe going on (which I love; one of my favorite music periods). What was he singing about? Can you provide lyric translations? I particulary loved the urban shots and the stairwell footage; very cool; gritty feeling.

Anytime there are Russian women involved it has to be cool. What happended that she bailed the photoshoot in the end? I need to know the story.

I find countries cultures and music fascinating; the mullet, the black leather jacket, those shades. Like a time-warp.

That MEND Film looks relly solid. The Trailer is tight.

heya i'm glad you like it. basically he's a rockstar and she's a model (what are the chances)
and he's kinda being an asshole to her, but they still have to do this photo shoot. well basically the relationship is just in that momentum terrirtory after both parties are done with eacho ther already.
he's singing about crooked mirrors, and how there's a different life there, and how one can get lost chasing things that aren't real or are bs, so i directed the girl to kind progressively realize that this whole thing isn't worth it (i think women are really sexy when they're angry...)
well anyway so she bounces and we break the 4th wall. ;]
 
Find a clinic that does aids tests, if you're going to be "in" it. It's running rampant.

Many adult companies are using the XL2 now.
 
LOL! Never! (but I can dream can't I)

Actually the industry has a much better track record than the nation at large, at least in the US.
