Music video shot and edited by a newbie

Yea try to shoot from as many angles as possible. The shots got a bit repetitive. Also you may want your talent to do something more than rap to the camera

Thanks... we actually shot that video impromptu in about 45 minutes at my apartment complex the other day, hence the lack of scenery lol... I'm definitely building my skills before we tackle some full fledged music videos.
 
I must say I quite enjoyed the piece. I really liked the tune as well, got a nice beat and his rap is good also. I think the editing made the video work, I don't think its a matter of repetition in scenes or locations (you can make a whole music video in one location and still make it rock) I think its the camera work. Although simple, is lacking in more creative angles and a more expressive light, but that's all easy to say once the work is done...
