Music Video Shoot, Which lenses are needed?

Basically I will be shooting indoors and outside. Now I doubt I need anything past 85mm as you usually want to stay on top of your subject when shooting. Indoors I'm guessing something wide and fast, and outdoors not something so fast but a fixed aperture is always best.

So to any pros or people in general who have shot music videos which are the lenses that are absolutely needed?

I have the Kit Lens (18-55) and 50mm 1.8 that came with the Canon T2i

thank you

I just shot a two local videos and made some pocket change ( couple hundred ) and the only thing I can thing was using the kit lens I had to keep adjusting the aperture every so often due to lighting and zooming.

I made it work but in the future I would love to have some more fixed aperture lenses. So if anyone here has experience with shooting videos, please share your wisdom

thanks

Depnding on your budget you could always get a 17-50 2.8 vc tamron or canon 17-55 2.8 IS if you want a zoom lens. I used a 17-55 2.8, 70-200 2.8(both IS), and a lensbaby 2.0 on a recent shoot. I think the type of video you want to make would determine the lenses you plan to use. You could always go super wide with a tokina 11-16 or similar. Still lenses are super cheap to rent so I suggest renting a few to experiment with. I just started playing with a sigma 30mm 1.4 and love it.
