C300: Music video I shot with C300 "the Fox"

Congratulations on making a huge viral hit! The video is excellent - very well done. Looks great and is super fun. What kind of lighting were you using in the forest scenes? Were the animal costumes all custom made?

Did the blue lasers in the forest give you any issues on either camera?
 
Despite many years spent in the jungle, I haven't heard some of those sounds of animals. :) The tune is catchy. So no wonder it became a hit. Can you share what was the thought process behind the video? I guess others would also love to know more about it.
 
Awesomeness! Love the lighting in the forest scenes. Were those Ice Lights on the trees? What did you use for Key lighting in the forest scenes?

the forrest dance sequences is lit with a 4k HMI as backlight, a 1200 HMI as frontlight on some shots, 8 fluorecent tubes in normal household fixtures, sometimes with gels, and kino 4x4 for frontal fill on some shots. on top of that we had eight led strips that were programmed and placed out in the forest around the guys witch produces most of the blinking.

in a couple of shots we also used a laser, making sure not to shoot into the beam, as that has ruined the sensor of some canon cameras..

other forrest night shots is mostly just the 4k HMI, lightlevels where quite low so the forrest night is mostly shot at at least 1600 asa

as for costumes, they're mostly made for the video, yes
 
I couldnt stand the music or song, I know its a **** take, failed on me. Good news that also probably means a world wide hit.

On the video however - Excellent job. I really loved the forest shot with grandpa and lamp - fantastic choices made for a superb shot.
 
Oh crazy, saw this last week and I thought this was the FS700 because of the slow-mo/overall look.

Guess it's hard to tell some cameras apart!

Liked the flying bits and the animal folk herding out of the cabin.

COol video. And definitely a catchy song. Bet that's an iTunes money maker already!
 
I feel like I just watched an SNL sketch that didn't make the broadcast.

Either that or another Jimmy Kimmel viral video.

Regardless, I laughed my ass off.
 
18 million views this MONTH?!!! That's insane. Great job. I know I've watched at least 10 times with my kids. They love it.
 
This vid as I understand was made for an international late night show, yes? Very funny, fantastic job, always fun when a video blows up like this, congrats!
 
So dang funny! My son saw me watching it and said "what the F are you watching?" That pretty much sums it up. Great job!
